Hello.

Welcome to my mind, heart, and soul — in characters

The weather was frustrated;
It wanted to start some drama
But knew it had no just reason to.

I too was a bit on edge,
Eager to indulge in the promised hard rain
That would no doubt
Never arrive.

Obviously my wanting the storm
Was not cause enough
For the sky to break
Its clouds open.

Or so I thought until I was suddenly beset
By a quick pelting
of cool water —

Like an older brother might
Hand-splash his younger brother
At the local beach or pool.

Over as quickly as it began,
Dark gray turns to bright blue,
Revealing a prism-smirk overhead.

A shared expression,
The sky and I
Both edified,
For no tangeable reason.
